There had to be close to 10,000 people at this game and that's an honest estimation. At 4:30 the majority of the visitor's (PV) lot was filled and many were tailgating.

PV's quarterback has a very live arm but overthrew a lot of his receivers. He also threw the ball 50 times which you normally do not see in a high school game. But they have some major game breakers which could cause some problems for whoever they play in the playoffs. However they are very small defensively and probably would struggle with teams like Pennsbury, NP, DTW or DTE..

Spring-Ford should win a game or two but I don't think they'll have enough fire power for the big boys as well.

Overall both teams should once again control the PAC10 next year due to their major skill players being juniors.

Agree on the attendance estimation last night at McNelly Stadium. Great crowd and both sides represented their schools well. Thoroughly enjoyed both student sections loudly singing the National Anthrm.

Don't agree on your assessment of the Rams. Only showed what they had to last night offensively. rushed for 350. 4 TD's. Held PV to 65 yards rushing if you take the last TD yardage away with 30 seconds on the clock. The D is legit. I think even the "Big Boys" could struggle to run on them. I wouldn't overlook either team in the next few weeks.

Rams have already defeated a "big boy" in State College who is HUGE, well coached, great back, etc, etc while PV made CR look like a JV team. A little young but both are REAL well coached, fundamentally sound programs.

No doubt that both teams are well coached. I just thought PV defensively looked like a team you can run on. As far as SF holding PV to only 65 yards in part because they only ran 29 or 30 times (although that is a fairly good defensive average). I didn't understand why PV didn't have a more balanced offensive attack.

Many of us from the Western burbs who have seen Spring Ford and PV realize how good these teams are. I thought when SF dispatched Pennridge a few years back that would have put it to rest. SpringFord and Perk Valley may have not won the district yet but they are going to be top district teams for years to come.

I absolutely loved the atmosphere at that game. There was more energy there than any game I saw by far this year and I certainly plan to attend more games in this conference.

I don't know I just feel as though every year the team that wins the District 1 title does it by winning at the LOS. The really large AAAA schools usually have more "Big Uglies" to choose from than the smaller ones.

kit, Spring-Ford has the 7th largest enrollment in D1. I idea that S-F is a small 4A school simply isn't true. They should win that league regularly.

SF held PV to basically 6 points. Not considering the TD with 30 seconds left up 28-6. PV put up 56 on CR North. Enough said....
