Does anyone else find this to be as bizarre as I do? It's from the MaxPreps website.

Remember, Springfield Montco cancelled its season this year due to low numbers.

Springfield Township (0 - 5) is five games into its season, but it hasn't met anyone harder than the team challenging it this week. It and Upper Dublin (5 - 1) are set to face off this Friday at 7:00 PM. Springfield Township is still chasing that elusive W after another rough time last week.

Springfield Township's last match was a 2 - 0 surrender to Upper Moreland. As for Upper Dublin, it was a tight race, but it finished just behind of Plymouth Whitemarsh with a 24 - 21 loss. The outcome was a nice jolt of excitement for Upper Dublin after its previous game, where the margin was anything but close.

Since both teams have excelled on the defensive side of the ball (Springfield Township allowing an average of 11 points per game, Upper Dublin an average of 6.17), we'll see which team's offense handles things best when they meet this week.

They are only giving up 2 points a game the past 4 games. Great defense

Ill bet they hold Upper Dublin to a saftey tonight as well. Their offense must be invisible however!!

Springfield cancelled their season after one loss because of low numbers. Palisades has the same numbers and only 2 seniors and they are 4 & 2. Lesson, quit when things are not to your advantage.
