Skins at Quakertown

Alumni Field is across the street from the school. Take a look at google earth. You will see grass, but they now have turf.

Should be fun -- especially since the last two times these two teams played was seventy-one years ago in the early thirties. Been a long time to wait for Langhorne-Middletown high school to even that one win, two loss and one tie record.

And yes Relayer, I spilled coffee on my MacBook Pro and somehow it disabled all the numbers except for the 0. I haven't had a chance to take it to the Apple store as I'd actually rather do just about anything than undertake that exercise. Fortunately my IT hardware guy is stopping by the office this week, to look at another Apple computer, so I'll have him take a gander at this one too.

In the meantime -- Go 'Skins.

PS I must say Relayer, and I am a longtime fan and have always appreciated your spot-on observations with your football knowledge and posts making your thoughts and comments a treat to read -- and I hope you continue to contribute for many years to come, you've become a bit ornery of late. Hope all is well.

Thanks skinner, hope all is well with you too and your keyboard gets fixed. I know I'm guilty of taking these games too serious at times. Need to remember it's only HS football.

Have you heard from '71SKINS? I hope he is doing OK, been worried about him.

Relayer -

He's been battling a couple of health issues that have taken his attention. I spoke with him a few weeks back and he's hanging in there. Give him a call as I'm sure he'd love to hear from you.

Then besides my dang keyboard all is on an even keel out here.

Looking forward to this game. Other then Pennridge, Qtown has not seen a team like Neshaminy since the demise of the bux-mont league 30 years ago.
Having seen both teams i give the edge to Neshaminy based only on their depth. Qtown has some solid players but they play in a league where teams dance alot and Nesh. will pound it. Nesh. wr. and Qtown db could be a good match.
Alumni field is a favorite venue especially since the upgrades. The track is a rectangle and goes behind the away stands, (old Home) not used anymore.
In town field with limited parking near the field. Seating is also limited and get n early start from langhorne, 313 is bad any night but especially Friday night.
Could be the biggest win in Qtown school history.
Finally: both schools have very good bands.
