I listened to most of the broadcast of the SJP game against St. Peter's Prep last night. Sounded like a great comeback win and confidence-booster for the Prep and its sophomore QB. They've got probably a bigger test coming up against Good Counsel from the DC area next Friday night and a lot of guys banged up or out of action. Any reports about how Wood looked against Bergen Catholic?

I saw several highlights of the game yesterday and noticed McCord played the whole game with a brace on his knee. I doubt he'll ever be as mobile as McCray, but he shows lots of promise as a passer--and quite a bit of poise, especially after some early errors.

For all the potential, though, the QB is still a sophomore with almost no varsity experience before this year. There are bound to be some rough patches.
