Beatdown by SJP. O- line controlled Oaks from jump street. Oaks QB and TE are legit, but Prep D up to the task. Oaks folks shaking heads in disbelief. East coast smash mouth football is no joke. Great win for SJP, time to focus on Bosco.

SoCal folks take note of smackdown of Oaks by PA team.

Then in "showcase" game last night -- IMG v Corona -- the local boys went up 49-42 when they scored with a minute remaining in the game. IMG then handled kickoff and scored with under 20 seconds remaining to pull within one, 49-48. Too tired for OT after the seesaw game they went for two on a shovel pass -- which worked -- as they then went back to Florida with the one-point win.

LA papers describe the Ascenders as "All Star" team.
