It certainly wasn't 72 because St. James was undefeated and North was winless.

kit, good to see you posting again.

CB-East 35 Pennridge 0

Very disappointing season for the Rams. They don't deserve to be in the playoffs.

yes, I knew the 72 team was undefeated you old fart. How the hell are you?
Going mid PA this year?

Relayer -

Is that a final on CB East and Pennridge?

I ask as I was working the "numbers" last night on the teams in that 14 through 19 area of the D1 playoff ratings (Souderton, Pennridge, Haverford, Bensalem, D-Town West and Pennsbury) and I believe that Souderton was the only team that came out with a win. So with that said nothing much would change below them (it appears) which means 14, 15 and 16 are still the Indians, Rams and the Fords.

Thus, with Neshaminy #2 it would seem that the Rams will be visiting The Ridge (at least based on my cocktail napkin scribbling).

PS I see from Kyle's post that it will be Pennridge coming to town next week. Always a tough out, I'm sure the Green Guys will be geared up and ready to go.

Actually you are correct. The 1972 Saint James team may have been the best high school team I ever saw. Completely solid both sides of the ball at every position. Once in a lifetime team.

That St James team may have been the best team I ever saw but I thought Kendrick had a shot at beating them in the PCL title game. Still remember the double reverse pass back to the QB they ran at the end of the half which made the difference. Jordy Hinkle was Kendrick's QB and a very good dual threat guy.

If I am correct the NC team that year was winless but tied Frankford in the Thanksgiving Day game and Frankford won the Pub but got blasted 42-0 vs St James in the City title affair. Seems like it was just yesterday.

All is good Relayer and Shfoot. I hope to be around in the playoffs and at Hershey.

I feel the same. I saw them vs Neshaminy earlier and for as much talent as they had they seemed to be very undisciplined.
