Sammyk question about Butler NC

I saw in footballscoop.com that they are hiring a DC

Was the DC fired for giving up a ton of points?

I do not know the inner workings of butler and I do not know why the DC left . What I do,know is last year Butler had one of the toughest schedules in NC and who,ever gets the DC job will have a ton of great players to work with. I do,think there is a guy on staff who would do a great job as DC
