Interesting match-up, very staunch defense in Ridge vs Veer Option attack in GV. Heard rumors of a dust-up involving some players for Ridge that might lead to suspensions. Hope that is not true, hate to see a special season effected by undisciplined behavior by a few Ridge players. Although if you have seen Ridge play, undisciplined behavior is the norm. A lot of late hits & unsportsmanlike penalties by Ridge the entire year and in '16. Don't just blame the players, blame the coaches, especially on the defensive side of the ball.

You're from Warminster. First, you came on here and took shots at your coach and now you're on here taking shots at Pennridge coaches. Interesting.

Why so interesting? Not shots, facts. Plenski was fired. Lack of commitment and results. And there will be a suspension of a key player for Ridge vs. GV Ask around Ridge parents and fans, they will tell you about a lack of institutional control and discipline within that coaching staff.

Sol not sure if you heard the same thing I did .. if so it should not be aired in a public forum as it could be serious for the individual

Green beans why not air it? A key player from Pennridge is suspended. Unless it involves a legal matter and a players reputation isn't that what the forum is for. I remember guys back when the NP vs West brawl occurred stating what was happening.

From what I heard a key player at Pennridge won't play in playoffs. Not sure what happened fully. But a "dust up" doesn't sound serious. Hopefully the suspension is where the disciplinary consequences end.

As for the coaches I don't know where their responsibilities lie. At Pennridge a few years back they lost their starting QB and LT for an off field legal issue. Is that a coaching responsibility? At Neshaminy a few years back players were suspended for their last game because of sending inappropriate text images. Was that on the coach to monitor their cell phones?

If a coach willingly lets kids who have broken school rules play that is on the coach and the school. Is that happening at Pennridge? If not then what is the lack of institutional control? More info needed...hence the forum.

And tomorrow they play the game between the fields!

This is becoming a story that is way more than a dust up as I mentioned before. Sorry to say the reports I'm hearing involve hazing, players getting seriously hurt, and all being swept up under the rug by coaches & Admin at Ridge, until now. This isn't one incident, this stems back to last year. The Quakertown SUPER even went as far as to put on his twitter about the Thanksgiving Game being forfeited.

I believe the game is on still for Thanksgiving. No JV this weekend like they normally do though. However, the key player in mention is suspended til after Thanksgiving. If the Rams win he would be back for the championship game.

Not sure about any hazing. Heard a fight within the team. More a senior leader vs an underclassmab showing lack of respect is what I was told from a Pennridge supporter over morning coffee. He is a Pennridge homer, but he would know that community better than I.

If Pennridge wins tonight, will they still play on Thanksgiving? I can't imagine them playing Coatesville on a day's rest. I know they did this in 2012 and then got trounced by Spring-Ford. Probably why Easton has never made it to Hershey too.

Just read the star Pennridge player Tartanbuton (spelling?) is out. You’d like to see teams at full strength for these games. Garnett Valley is tough at home and they’ve been in these games before so wondering if it would even matter. Seems like writers/posters on this board are picking the winner based on league allegiance. Good luck to both.

Where'd you read this?

What a shame. One of the biggest games in Pennridge history and he won't be on the field. Hopefully it isn't too serious of an offense and he grows from the experience.

Maybe the rest of the team will step up in his absence?
