What have you been doing as of late with your workouts?
“Mostly weightlifting with my team. We do the core lifts like bench, back squat, power clean, front squat, push press, and deadlift throughout the week and then we do a calisthenic workout after each lift.”

What do you feel you have improved on the most since football ended?
“I feel as though my physicality has gotten better and I am more comfortable with my route running. The biggest of all is that I'm more confident in myself.”

What are your areas of focus going forward?
“I want to focus on staying healthy and becoming more of a leader on my team. Woodland Hills lost a nice amount of senior leadership last season and I believe I can step in and fill that hole. Also, I just want to focus on the game of football. This season is going to very important in my recruiting, so I can't let anything distract me from it.”

How do you believe your team will be next season?
“This season my team should be pretty decent. At the beginning of the off-season, there was some speculation as to who was going to try out for the starting quarterback position. Fortunately, a 2020 QB from Penn Hills recently transferred to Woody High and it looks as though that he will fill that position. However, we have a lot of inexperienced 2020 players that are going to be depended on this year, especially lineman.”

What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2018?
“Respectfully all of our opponents are going to be tough, but the toughest for us is probably Seneca Valley. They are a very good 6A team that is going to challenge us in week seven.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Pitt, Penn State, Virginia Tech, WVU, Northwestern, Boston College, Central Michigan, Western Michigan, Michigan, Michigan State, Stanford, Florida, Cincinnati, UNC, Toledo, Howard, Akron, and Temple.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Virginia Tech currently is right now. They invited my down to their spring game and their spring practice. Their coaching staff loves to get to know their recruits.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have went to only three so far this off-season. Those are Virginia Tech, Pitt, and Penn State. I would like to make a trip to Notre Dame soon.”

What camps are you going to this summer?
“I don't expect to attend that many camps this year as last year. Some colleges said that they may offer me if I attend, so my camp list will be brief.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Growing up, I loved Pitt. Mainly for the fact that they were the only college that I knew about since I was raised in Pittsburgh.”
