What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“I have been doing a lot of lifting and as a team, we went to Millersville to see where we are as a team. We have been doing a lot of 11v11 and 7v7.”

What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“I feel like I have improved greatly at the wide receiver spot. Last year was really my first year ever playing receiver. I have learned so much from all the different coaches that I have worked with including my wide receiver coach. They have really helped me to have the correct plan when I get to the line and do what I need to do to get open based on the defense.”

What are you trying to improve on before the football season begins?
“Before the season begins, I want to hit the weights as much as possible. I want to be a real hard-hitting safety that make receivers think twice when coming down the middle. Being stronger will really improve my game because I already have such a wide frame that I utilize in my game. Furthermore, I want to watch more film. I really want to be a student of the game this year.”

How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“I personally have very high expectations for my team this year. I don't plan on losing a game. That is the mindset I need to have in order to make that happen. I think we have a great group of guys and a great group of coaches that are needed to be a successful football team.”

Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“I feel the toughest competition for us this year will be Manheim Township. They have a lot of returning guys with some young talent. It should be a really good game.”

Who is your opponent in the season opener and how do you feel about them overall?
“Our opponent in the season opener in Ephrata. Ephrata is really growing as a program and they are nothing to take lightly. I am just really excited to be back on the field no matter what team is out there.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I do want to play a sport in college, and I would love to play football. It makes me a much better person on the field and has taught me lessons that I can use in the real world. Football is a blessing that I want to take advantage of. It has helped me in ways I could never imagine. I am very blessed to have supportive parents who help me every day to try to reach my goals.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have been talking to many different colleges at many different levels.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have not visited any colleges, but I have been to a good amount of camps and saw some great campuses like Villanova, Delaware, Penn, and Maryland.”

Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“I do plan to start visiting some colleges that I am interested in.”

What camps did you do this summer and how did they go?
“I went to Villanova, Delaware, Penn, and Maryland. These camps went really well for me. I had a really great time competing. I got to understand the process better. I picked up a lot of great tips for the season, and most of all I enjoyed getting to talk to coaches face to face after I got done showing what I can do.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite college team growing up was Ohio State. I have lots of family from there. It also was always fun to me to mess with my uncle who played at Michigan and won a Rose Bowl there. Every time Ohio State beat Michigan, I made sure he heard about it.”
