What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“As of late, I’ve been lifting at one of my teammate’s houses and going to my local field to get in footwork/agility. Also, I recently started back up with my personal trainer since he has reopened.”
What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“I think that my ability to cover receivers in man to man coverage has improved a lot from last season.”
What are you trying to improve on before the football season begins?
“I’ve just been strictly trying to improve my overall speed and football fundamentals of the game at the outside linebacker position.”
How has Covid-19 factored into your workouts?
“Covid-19 hasn’t really stopped me from being able to get work in. I’m constantly at the field and putting myself through drills that I’d be doing at practice anyway.”
How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“I’m really excited for this season. I think we have a great team and we all have the same goal, and that’s winning a championship. As soon as practices pick up again, we will be locked in.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“I think the toughest team on our schedule this year will be North Catholic. They always have a great team and are always ready to compete.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against this fall?
“The toughest individual player we have on our schedule is either Chase Watton from EF or Logan Shrubb from KO. Both are great players that can change a game.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I’d love to play college football. It’s always been a dream of mine and I’m really hoping people will give me a chance.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“So far, it has been schools like W&J, Waynesburg, Baldwin Wallace, Allegheny, Grove City.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“W&J and Grove City.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I haven’t yet, but I know that I will be once things start getting back to normal.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“Yes, I do.”
What camps are you planning to do this summer?
“I was originally signed up for the Allegheny and Duquesne camps, but both were cancelled.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“As a kid growing up, I’ve always been a Notre Dame fan.”
