How did the high school football season go overall?
“During the 2019 season, we went through a lot of hardships. We had a new coaching staff and a young team. There were many games that we could’ve beaten the team we were playing, but just lost our momentum in the second half.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“It’s a hard time for athletes currently. Everyone is stuck inside, and all of the gyms are closed. I don’t have access to a weight room, so the best I can do is pushups, sit ups, planks, and jumping rope.”
What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“I definitely need to work more on footwork. I had a little trouble last year when up against faster kids, so faster feet is going to help a lot.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I think we will do much better during the 2020 season. A lot of our starters from last year were sophomores, including myself. We didn’t have a lot of seniors, so we will be a lot of the same team but with older starters.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“With the new schedule, it’s hard to know who will be our hardest competition because a lot of these teams we haven’t played before. I think for next year, our toughest competition is going to be South Park.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I would love to play football in college. My dream college is Penn State.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“As a sophomore, I haven’t been necessarily recruited yet. I have been talking with some coaches from colleges.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I haven’t made any college trips yet, but I hope to take some soon.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“Not at this time, but I would if offered the opportunity.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I always liked Penn State because my sister went there and really liked the campus and education.”
