What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“I’ve been having to get pretty creative with my workouts at home due to these crazy times. I have been using tires, logs, cinder blocks, water jugs and any stuff I can get my hands on. I’ve been able to get a lot of great work in and am continuing to get bigger, faster, and stronger. I’ve put on about 15 pounds since last season as I’m now weighing in at about 220 pounds.”
What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“I feel like so far, I’ve gotten a lot stronger and Improved my physique a lot. I’ve put on a lot more weight but feel like I move even better than last season. I’m going to continue that progression even more as we approach the season.”
How has Covid-19 factored into your workouts?
“Covid-19 has factored into my workouts a lot because I’ve had to pretty much completely alter my style of working out. I was going from a typical weight room type setting to now using any type of unorthodox items I can get my hands on. Even with that said, I feel like these last few weeks have been super productive for me.”
How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“I have very confident ambitions about our upcoming season. I believe we have all the pieces to bring a WPIAL title and even hopefully a state title back to Seneca Valley.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“I think Central and NA will be the teams that will challenge us the most this season. We always have those games circled on our schedule and they are always hard-nosed football games.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against this fall?
“I’d say Eddie Tillman. He’s a quick shifty guy and can be a big problem for defenses. I look forward to playing him and Central this upcoming year.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I am looking to play football in college 100%.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I’ve been in contact with a handful of colleges and have 4 offers currently from Army, Richmond, Duquesne, and New Hampshire.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I’d say any of the schools that have offered me so far.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“Prior to Covid-19, I had a chance to make a few visits including Buffalo, UPenn, Lehigh, and Kent State.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“Hopefully this pandemic will end sooner rather than later so I can make some more visits, but as of now, I don’t have a set schedule for future visits.”
What camps are you planning to do this summer?
“If Covid-19 ends, then yes, I plan to attend some camps. I usually go to the Pitt camp and a few more.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I never had a true favorite team, but I have always enjoyed just watching whatever games were on.”
