How did the high school football season go overall?
“I feel we had a great season and it was the best in our school’s history. There is a lot of work to do because no one is perfect. There is always room for improvement.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“We have had football workouts every week since January. They are going great. We now have a new trainer in our program pushing us and helping us grind to our best ability. We are either in the weight room or on the field throwing routes. We are always out there getting better.”
What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“For me in my opinion, what I need to improve most is my separation off of the defender trying to stop me from running my route, and for my strength, to help me be able to dominate others I am either tackling or blocking. Those are my main priorities.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I feel our next upcoming season is going to be huge for our program. We have a couple new kids coming in that can help our offensive game and defensive game in a very positive way. Our main thing is we have to work out tails off this off-season and that’s where it will really show. This is not a time for a break or a time to rest on such a huge opportunity for us to be great.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“I think to start off our first game against Roman Catholic with be our biggest game and most competitive. They are a big school and a great football team, but we have to be mentally and physically ready for this game. It will determine how we move throughout this year and how we can see what we have to work on and what works best for us.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, college football is my goal. It was always been my dream playing at that level like my father did at the University of Delaware. But for me I feel I am a d2, 1-AA player, and I will take any opportunity I can get to play at that level.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“So far, VMI has asked me to attend a junior day, Allegheny College, Alvernia, and West Chester. Those are the ones so far.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“All are basically on the same page with recruiting me, so there is a decent amount of talk between us.”
Have you made any college trips yet
“I have not made any visit yet, but coming up through the next couple months, I plan on taking a trip to a few.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I always loved the University of Delaware, and Notre Dame. Those were my favorites growing up.”
