What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“Along with our football practices and workouts, I've been training at Oxford Sports Performance, where I do strength and speed/agility.”
What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“Since the last season, I feel I have gained a lot of strength. I feel stronger than ever and I've gained about 30 pounds.”
What are you trying to improve on before the football season begins?
“Before the season starts, I've been trying to take the leadership role of the offensive line.”
How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“I feel like our team will do very well. We lost some great players, and a lot of kids have to step up and fill some big shoes. They have been doing great, and I feel like they are up to the task and after a good few weeks of camp coming up, they'll be ready to play.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“As a lineman, Central Catholic will be one of our tougher opponents. They have a lot of returning faces, and it will be a very physical game.”
Who is your opponent in the season opener and how do you feel about them overall?
“Our season opener is against Penn Hills. I feel like it will be a good test for our skill players and especially our offensive line, but I don't think they will be able to keep up with our team's tempo.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, I would like to play football in college.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I've spoken to many different colleges that have come by our practices and school. Schools like Pitt, Duquesne, Wisconsin, Maryland, Kent State, Toledo, and some more.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I visited the University of Pittsburgh for Junior Day earlier this year, and Notre Dame with our team.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“I plan on taking many more trips after this upcoming season.”
What camps did you do this summer and how did they go?
“This summer I went to the University of Pittsburgh's Senior Elite Camp and felt quicker than the other offensive linemen. I feel like I dominated, being one of the younger players there.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I've always loved Liberty University. That's where my sister attends now.”
