How did the high school football season go overall?
“The season went well. We had another coaching change this year, so we all had to learn new plays, concepts, and terminology. For seniors, it was their third coaching change in four years, so it was a lot for everyone to take in, but I think we handled it well and got better as the season went on.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“I play basketball during the winter, so I have been doing that and lifting 4 days a week and getting work in on the field as much as possible.”
What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“Size and strength have never really been a weak point of mine, so I’m trying to improve my athleticism and my endurance primarily. Flexibility is also becoming a focus of mine during the offseason.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I feel as if this upcoming season will be big for us. A good amount of our starters last year were sophomores and juniors, and everyone had a positive impact for us. I think that having a lot of us coming back with an understanding of our offense and defense will be a huge upside considering that last year it was all new.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“I feel as if Strath Haven will be one of our toughest games this year. They are always a tough opponent and they have a lot of good guys coming up as juniors and seniors this year. They are also are rival and it is always a big game around Media, so I think it’ll be fun.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, I would love to play football in college. Football has always been a passion of mine and playing at the next level is my goal.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I haven’t really been getting recruited. I have spoken with coaches at some camps and other events, but no schools have been recruiting me.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“I have no planned visits yet as far as football, but I am planning on visiting Temple, West Chester, and Kutztown for academics.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I love Penn State and Temple. They are my favorite college football teams.”
