What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“Even though most of the fields have been closed due to the pandemic, I managed to find one and do ladder and agility work.”
What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“Speed and strength.”
What are you trying to improve on before the football season begins?
“Confidence. It’s easy to put on equipment and play football, but you need to build that confidence in yourself to shine above the rest.”
How has Covid-19 factored into your workouts?
“Not being able to lift weights really took a toll and also not being able to be around my teammates and coaches to build chemistry.”
How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“We are going to have a great season. We just have to take it one game at a time and get better every week.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“There are some nice teams in 5A, but none of them are like us when we are fully focused and ready to play.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against this fall?
“It’s a team sport. There is no one player that will be able defeat our team by themselves.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes. It doesn’t matter as long as I get to get a free education and play the sport I love.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“None.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“Kent State and the University of Buffalo.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“No. Whoever invites me to their camps, I would be more than welcome to come.”
What camps are you planning to do this summer
“Any camp I can make it to I will, especially Pitt.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I’ve always liked Kent State due to the fact my cousin Eugene Jarvis played for them.”
