What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“This off-season, I’ve been working out with my team and at Made strength in Phillipsburg, NJ.”
What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“I feel that I have really improved with my speed, strength, and football IQ.”
What are you trying to improve on before the football season begins?
“I’m really trying to improve on being a team leader as this season approaches, especially on the defensive side of the ball.”
How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“I feel my team is going to do very well this season, despite losing a lot of great players who did a lot for us the past few years. A lot of us have been doing a great job with reloading spots.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“I feel the toughest competition on our schedule this year is Northwestern because they got a lot of returning players and a talented quarterback.”
Who is your opponent in the season opener and how do you feel about them overall?
“Our first opponent is Northwestern. Overall, they are a solid team with lots of talent. It is definitely going to be a huge game with a lot riding on it. Last year they were our first game and we lost by one point in overtime, so this game really means a lot to my team.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, it is my goal to play college football.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I haven’t been recruited by any colleges yet.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“Yes, I do have plans to go visit some colleges. Hopefully after this season I will get visits for football.”
What camps did you do this summer and how did they go?
“Yes, I attended Lauren’s First and Goal and that was a great experience. And then I went out to Penn State for a camp which went very well. I was invited to Marshall and Saint Francis for elite prospect showcases, but unfortunately was not able to attend. Hopefully I will be able to go to more next season.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Yes, I did have a favorite college growing up and still do now. My favorite school is Penn State and it is my dream school to play football at. All of my family members are big Penn State fans and my uncle played for them in the late 90’s.”
