How has everything with the football season been going so far?
“Everything this season has obviously been a little different with Covid, but it’s been a learning experience for all of us and all our guys are working through it.”
What do you feel your team can improve on?
“Overall, I think some of the guys just need to get more comfortable with the playbook. We have new guys stepping into positions that they are new to, so they have to get comfortable with that.”
What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“The keys to us being successful is going to be controlling the line of scrimmage each game and executing in the passing game. We have a lot of returners up front and we feel like we have some great weapons at receiver so if we are able to put it all together, we should be just fine.”
What are your goals for the rest of the season?
“As a team, we want to make it to playoffs and win a district championship. For me personally, I have a personal goal of being selected as an all-state quarterback.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, football.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have been in contact with a few of the Ivy League schools, some of the Patriot League schools, and a few others such as Millersville and Villanova.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“At the moment, no schools are recruiting me that hard.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I was supposed to go to a number of junior days and watch some spring practices but those were cancelled due to Covid, so I have only looked at Duquesne, Robert Morris, and Millersville so far.”
Do you have plans for game day trips this fall?
“Not as of right now.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Similar to a lot of kids in this area, I always rooted for Penn State, but I’m not really a superfan and I just like watching a good game no matter who is playing.”
