What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“I’ve been grinding away with my team in the weight room. As soon as school ended, we quickly started to bond all over again once we hit the turf and dug in. Personally, I have been training and working out with Thomas Ricketts at Oxford Sports performance.”
What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“My route running has definitely improved the most. Being fast in and out of my cuts has been a big focus this off-season.”
What are you trying to improve on before the football season begins?
“I am putting a great emphasis on weight lifting and maintaining a good weight during summer conditioning.”
How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“Our team will do very well this year. We have a lot of great players in our locker room and plan to make a big run.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“As of recent years, I would say Pine-Richland. Obviously, this year and the years coming will be between us and Central Catholic for the championships.”
Who is your opponent in the season opener and how do you feel about them overall?
“Our first opponent is Friendship Collegiate Academy from DC. I have not looked into them yet, but during the summer I will learn more.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, I want to play football in college.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Many colleges have been recruiting me. As of right now, I hold offers from RMU, Sacred Heart, Bryant, Central Michigan, Holy Cross, Lehigh, Lafayette, Columbia, and Princeton.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have gone to Princeton and Lehigh so far this summer.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“Yes, there are a few schools left that I would like to see in person.”
What camps did you do this summer and how did they go?
“I just finished camp at Princeton this past weekend and it went very well.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite colleges growing up were North Carolina and Duke.”
