How did the high school football season go overall?
“We made it to the semifinals and lost to the eventual WPIAL champs of Central Catholic. Coach Palko came in and there was a new coaching staff and I loved it. I learned a ton. It was definitely a transition year for our team though. I think we responded well. For me personally, I was happy with how I played during my sophomore year. Earning Big 56 all conference honorable mention was exciting.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“Working on pitching, hitting, and defense. On top of that, I’ve really been focusing on good nutrition to be in the best possible shape and put on size and strength for the upcoming football season.”
What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“For next season, I’m really trying to work on my technical skills on both sides of the ball. Things such as footwork, route running, and cover technique are very important to me.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I hope we can surprise the WPIAL this year. Since we lost a lot of our starting seniors, outsiders might not be expecting much from us. I’m not worried about what they think because I know that all of the players and coaches in our program have high expectations for this upcoming season.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“They are loaded with talent. And I love our rivalry with USC. I’m expecting good games.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I do intend to play sports in college. Baseball is certainly an option, but I’m hoping to play football.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I haven’t really been recruited too much yet. I feel like I’m just starting to make noise and I am looking forward to a productive junior year.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I haven’t visited any schools yet. However, I did go to Pitt, Penn State, and WVU camps this past summer.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“I do plan on attending a few camps this summer. I am talking with Coach Palko to get his advice and I’m starting to put together a schedule.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up
“Growing up in Pittsburgh, I always loved Pitt.”
