How did the high school football season go overall?
“This season was a great one and definitely one to remember. The relationships we built with each other and especially the seniors will last a lifetime. Overall, we had a solid season with playing top notch competition. This taught us great lessons we used to our advantage later in the season. Ultimately, we fell short in the Inter-AC, but we are determined to do whatever it takes to be back on top next season.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“With the football season now concluded, I am participating in winter and spring shot put with some of my teammates. As for the weight room, its every single day. Next season starts now. Our head coach, Dave Gueriera, strives for excellence and determination in the weight room and will make sure you are ready for whatever challenges the next season will bring.”
What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“An aspect of my game I will improve on in the off-season is my endurance and technique.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I have the highest expectations for the upcoming football season. We have unfinished business we need to take care of, and it starts now.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“The Inter-AC has always been a challenging league and any team can really bring fire to the football field. But I know all of our guys and me personally have one game circled on our schedule, The Haverford School.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“As my next chapter soon unfolds, I intend to play Division I football. Playing at the next level would be a blessing and a great opportunity. I would love to play in college to show everyone what I have been working towards.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have recently had conversations and a chance to meet the following schools and their coaches; UConn, Virginia Tech, Buffalo, Bucknell, Princeton, Fordham, Sacred Heart, Bryant and Kent State.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I had a great time and visit at UConn when they played ECU. I have been in touch with their coaches and looks like things are headed in a great direction.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“I plan to visit as many colleges as possible leading into my senior season and determine if I am at a place where I can see myself succeed in football and academics.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“A favorite college of mine has really always been Syracuse University. My family grew up in that area and have always been attached to it. I have taken some trips to campus and plan to make another one for camp this summer.”
