How has everything with the football season been going so far?
“We were having off season workouts until our school board voted no on having fall sports. We have worked so hard and them saying no devastated us. We were all hugging each other and crying together. Now that we have our season back, we been working the hardest we ever been.”
What do you feel your team can improve on?
“We could all improve on our blocking and footwork. At practice, we need to push each other even harder.”
What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“Pushing each other as a team, building team chemistry, and bonding more. We need to open our mouths and talk more on the field.”
What are your goals for the rest of the season?
“My individual goals are to finally reach a 1,000-yards this season hopefully. Last year, I crushed my first goal at having a 100-yard plus game. I crushed it with about 230-yards. The team’s goal is to work together and push each other to win every game.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I’m going be honest, I really don’t know after high school. I’m currently enrolled in Wilkes Barre Area career and technical center’s welding program. If I were to really look at a college, it would have to be a technical college with a welding program.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I really haven’t gotten anything, but when I do in school, I usually throw it in my locker and never see it again.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I always liked the Oregon Ducks. They were my favorite college football team.”
