What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“Recently, I have been lifting and running with my team in smaller groups.”

What are your goals for the season?
“For my team, it is to perform to the best of our ability. Also, we want to win D10 and make a run into the playoffs.”

What areas do you feel your team needs to improve on?
“We lack depth in a lot of positions. We have a lot of young players that need to step up to fill positions.”

Who is your opponent in the season opener and how do you feel about them overall?
“Our opponent in the season opener is Meadville. They are a team that is always a good game for us. They are strong and a never give up kind of team. You can never count them out.”

How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“I really feel our team will do well this year. After 2 years of losing to Sharon in D10, we are the underdog this season. We all want to succeed and prove all the doubters wrong.”

Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“Myself and my other teammates feel that Hickory is the toughest competition.”

Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against this fall?
“The toughest individual player would have to be Michael Henwood of Hickory. He’s a true threat on both sides of the ball. On offense, he’s a dual threat quarterback and on defense he’s a ballhawk at safety.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I haven’t fully decided if I want to play sports in college. If I were to, it would be football.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“There have been a handful of colleges I have been receiving emails from. Most of them have been local or in the surrounding states. They include Alfred University, RPI, Waynesburg, Geneva, Alvernia and W&J.”

Do you have plans for game day trips this fall?
“I would love to have game day trips, but a lot of teams had their seasons cancelled, so I don’t think that’ll happen.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have not made any college trips, but I have attended many virtual junior days to multiple colleges.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I never really paid attention to colleges growing up, but I quickly became a fan of Penn State.”
