How did the high school football season go overall?
“The football season individually was a big let-down. I broke my leg in the second game of the season after starting 1-0 and having an all-around good first game.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“As of right now as a team, we are working out three days a week as a team, and 2 days a week I am seeing my personal trainer. My trainer, Justin Golden, is getting me right.”
What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“Right now as a player, I am trying my best to improve upon my speed. My strength and size are definitely my strong suits. Either way, I’m never satisfied.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I expect a good season from us next year. We are seeing a lot of personnel change on the coaching staff, but I am very excited with the returning talent we have. We return about 15-20 players with varsity experience.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“The toughest team we play next year is Bayard Rustin. They are one of the most respected teams in the Chesmont American, and they return a lot of really good talent upfront.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I want to play football in college. My dream has always to play somewhere division 1. However, I’d be happy to play anywhere, at any level.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I’m not currently being recruited by anybody. I feel like had I played my junior year I would have had the chance to catch the eye of a few coaches.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“No, I haven’t made any official visits. I went to Delaware for a camp last year and I loved it.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“I will 100% be going back to Delaware for a camp over the summer. Hopefully I will be going on visits soon.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up
“My favorite college growing has been Penn State. I’ve gone to the white out the past 2 years and have fallen in love with the University.”
