What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“With the gyms being closed, I've been doing a lot of pushups and sit ups at home. I’ve also been going to the track for some speed and plyometric workouts.”
What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“I think my IQ. I really made it a priority to watch a lot of films this year.”
What are you trying to improve on before the football season begins?
“Pretty much everything with speed, strength, technique, and IQ.”
How has Covid-19 factored into your workouts?
“All of the gyms are closed so I've been doing a lot of body weight and speed workouts.”
How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“I think we have a good chance of winning the Inter-AC again this year.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“Definitely all the Inter-AC teams. Every league game always comes down to the last couple of plays.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against this fall?
“I’m not really sure. We play a lot of good teams next year.”
Why did you pick Syracuse?
“I’ve always loved Syracuse. I’ve built a great relationship with the staff on and off the field. I think I would really fit well in their scheme. I’ve visited multiple times and I fell in love with campus and the facilities.”
What other schools are still trying to recruit you?
“No other schools.”
How important were the Syracuse coaches in your decision?
“They played a major part in my decision. The relationship I’ve built with them throughout this process was one of the main contributors to my decision.”
What do you feel has allowed you to stand out among your peers with an opportunity to play DI football?
“My versatility. I feel like I can play any skill position at a high level.”
What camps are you planning to do this summer?
“I don't plan on attending any camps.”
