How did the high school football season go overall?
“I was moved to adjuster and had never played LB at any level. I started the first 11 games as a sophomore and felt I improved every week including 10 tackles vs Pennsbury in round 1. I was third on the team in tackles, despite missing our last 4 playoff games. Most importantly, I was part of the best Downingtown West team ever. It was our first District 1 Championship in 23 years and most wins with 13.”

What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“Study film more, be prepared, and play relaxed and fast.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“We lost a lot of really good seniors. We won 24 games the last 2 years, so I think expectations will still be high. We still have an awesome group that I have played with since I was in flag football and we have always won. I know my guys are competitors, so we will bring it every Friday.”

Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“Coatesville is young like us, and when our towns get together, it is more than a football game, so they are at the top. I also made a note about Perk Valley is going to be tough because they had so many underclassmen on the field.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“It’s my dream to play college football.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“A few coaches have followed me and complimented me at our open workouts, but no real recruiting.”

Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“I’ll do four camps this year. I’m watching where similar size and styles are landing now. I am gathering intel.”
