What have you been doing as of late with your workouts?
“I’ve been taking a SAT prep course, so that cuts in my time in the weight room. I still try to get lifts in during the weekend to make it up. I am working on raising my bench, squat, deadlift, and clean.”
What do you feel you have improved on the most since football ended?
“Probably my technique, craft of the game, and learning my position more and more everyday through my father, coaches, and mentors around me.”
What are your areas of focus going forward?
“Just getting my stamina up because I play offense, defense, and mostly every snap. I didn’t play football last year, so it was difficult before.”
How do you believe your team will be next season?
“I think we will do great. We have to have that mindset coming into a new year. I like our team and our new coach has another year with us. Last year, we were behind because our coach didn’t come until like June, so we didn’t have real official workouts under the program. Also, we have a lot of young, talented players that can do damage.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2018?
“I’m not worried about any other team, I’m worried about my team and myself. My mindset is the same every game.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, I want to play football in college.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Morgan State, Monmouth, Howard, Delaware State, Temple, Harvard, Muhlenberg, Towson, Kutztown, Cornell, and Yale have recruited and shown interest in me.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I went to Morgan State, Monmouth, Delaware State, and Howard for junior visits.”
What camps are you going to this summer?
“Temple and Lauren’s first and goal camps so far, but the goal is to go to five to ten camps in the summertime.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“No, I was a real big NFL guy growing up.”
