What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“I have actually started boxing. It is something to help me stay conditioned and also with that jogging every other day and lifting everyday just to keep my body in shape.”

What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“Since last football season, I feel like I improved on most is becoming a leader on the team being a 2-year starter going into my senior year it’s what my place on the team is.”

What are you trying to improve on before the football season begins?
“One thing I’m trying to improve personally is my speed. My 40 right now is 4.6 and I’m working to get to a 4.5.”

How has Covid-19 factored into your workouts?
“It factors really into lifting, especially during this time doing it with the team now u really got to do it on your own. It’s definitely not as good as doing it with the team, but it just makes you want to do it more. I still lift every day and workout, so when we do come back, I’ll be ready.”

How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“Last season, we won our district and went to the top 8 in the state this season. Our next goal is to win Hershey and win the Catholic League.”

Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“With being in our division of the Catholic, you never really know who’s your biggest threat every year. It seems to be a new break out team, so never really know.”

Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against this fall?
“The toughest player that we will face is definitely Tysheem Johnson from NG. He’s that’s C factor that can really do anything especially with his speed and just his work ethic is unique and the biggest threat to all the Catholic League teams.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, my dream is to play college football. Growing up, I wanted to play for Oregon. It was my dream school.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“As of right now, I’ve had conversations with over 30 to 40 colleges ranging from D3 to D1 Like Temple and Rice to Kings and Widner.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“The school that’s recruiting me the hardest is Kings. I’ve been in talks with their coaches since the end of my junior year. I talk to the defensive coach almost every week and they’ve made it clear that they want me to dominate on their defense.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I’ve been on visits to Maryland, Temple, Widner, and have more visits coming up in the fall.”

Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“I have a junior day at Grove City College July 18th and I plan to have more visits soon with Kings, W&J, Ithaca, and Alvernia.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite college was Oregon. I always loved how they played fast but still smash mouth football and to add on they still have the best uniforms in college.”
