What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“This off-season, we have been lifting/conditioning 3 times a week. Even after a hard lift and conditioning day, I try and go to the gym to get some extra strength and agility practice.”
What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“I feel that I have most improved on my pass block. I have attended various camps this off-season that have really given me that extra feel for my pass block and hand placement.”
What are you trying to improve on before the football season begins?
“Before this football season begins, I would like to improve my 40 times. I would really like to get my times under 5.3 seconds.”
How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“I feel that our team will do really well this year. We have a lot of returning guys that get better and better every year.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“I feel that the toughest competition this year is going to be Thomas Jefferson, but we will be ready for them.”
Who is your opponent in the season opener and how do you feel about them overall?
“Our first opponent again this season is the Ambridge Bridgers. Last year against them it was my first varsity start and we rolled past the Bridgers 42-0. Hopefully we have a repeat this year as well.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I would very much like to play football in college. I would be completely happy with playing for any Division 1 school.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Currently, I do not have any colleges recruiting me due to the WPIAL rule. With hard work, I believe that I will show the colleges that I am capable of playing at the next level and will start hearing from them after September 1st.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have made a trip to Penn State to check out their beautiful facilities and also a great camp was hosted.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“As of right now, I do not have any more trips planned for the rest of this season, but I plan on going to as many as possible next year.”
What camps did you do this summer and how did they go?
“I have been to various camps this summer. I attended a camp at Calu, Slippery Rock, Penn State, and West Virginia. The camps were amazing, and it is always such a great atmosphere at any college.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite college growing up would have to be the Oregon Ducks. That has changed recently though. My favorite college now would have to be Ohio State.”
