What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“Just a lot of working out in my basement, running up hills near my house, and doing come drills in my backyard.”
What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“Definitely my strength. If I want to be one of the top linebackers in the state, I have to be strong.”
What are you trying to improve on before the football season begins?
“One thing I am trying to improve on is my speed. The faster I am, the more plays I can make and better I can be.”
How has Covid-19 factored into your workouts?
“It has factored quite a bit as far as going to the gym, but I have weights in my basement so I’m still going to get it done.”
How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“I think we have great chance to win it all next season. We have quite a few upcoming seniors who are working and ready to lead this team next year.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“This is a tough question because we got moved up to 4A with teams we’ve never played before so we’ll have to wait and see who our toughest opponent will be.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against this fall?
“I don’t feel as if any individual player is different from another because we moved up to 4A and there are a lot of tough players in the 4A classification.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I want to play football in college. Florida State is my favorite college, so I would want to play there.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“There have been several colleges texting me and calling me, but no offers yet.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“Pitt. I had a couple trips planned but due to Covid-19, I wasn’t able to go on them.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“Yes.”
What camps are you planning to do this summer?
“I plan on going to all the major camps near my area and maybe some out of state.”
