Plymouth Whitermarsh vs. Downingtown East

That was probably the case because PW is pretty one-dimensional in their approach tonight: mostly Nafeese Nasir running the Ball.

Second half has started. Cary Angeline just caught his second touchdown pass. PW now leads 21-14, :41 in third quarter.

Game tied at 28. And Cary Angeline just made an incredible catch and run for 45 yards. They've been exploiting his obvious height and talent advantage. D-Town East up 35-28 4 q 8:08 left

PW has just been really good running Nafeese Nasir all night. They are on the D-Town east ten yard line, 49 seconds to go.

Great effort by PW, Slow start by DTE and down 14-0 mid first. Very similar to North Penn game. Bad play calling, penalties and a fumble to start the game. #5 is the main player for PE (as is West for NP). DTE totally owned PW in the second half scoring 28 holding PW to 7. Great defensive play Kameron knocking the pass away from the PW player w 4th and 11 with approximately 30 seconds to go. Looking for a great contest next week as the Nights come to town.

That was a great play by that kid because that certainly would've been a touchdown.

Wow, nice effort by PW!

It really was. I don't think they ran more than four different plays all game.

Definitely a great effort by PW. This game was a tale of two separate halves as PW won the first and DTE won the second. Nasir is terrific player on both sides of the ball. He was just a little to short to break up the Angeline catches. I agree that throw on 4th and 8 had touchdown written all over it but what a tremendous play by the DTE defender. DTE pass coverage is very very good with Gnowah and Jennings supported by solid safeties. I've seen all but 2 of DTE games this year but one of the issues of the slow start was due to the lack of MLB. His first play was when the ball was just before half when PW was on the 1 yard line going in for the 3rd touchdown. Brody played the whole second half and he was the difference turning that game around. What gets me is if these Suburban teams had a decent pass game (see PW, Pennsberry, etc) they really could be very very difficult to stop.
