word is they are getting a transfer in from West Virginia 6'7 240 that has D-1 offers but it is not the "ordinary" transfer supposedly wis mother or grandmother has cancer and is moving to Pittsburg to receive health care for her issues. Never the less nice pick up for the Vikings

I heard he was trying to transfer into Central but probably would be ineligible due to WPIAL regulation. He played at Bishop Gorman, the 2015 national champion. I was really excited about this when I first heard about this last week. Thought it was too good too be true, same thing with the Thoms Burns brother of The Steelers number one draft pick coming up to Pgh from Florida rumor.

The kid's name is Grant Carrigan. He played at Weir HS (West Virginia) last year. Had something like 8 catches according to MaxPreps.

I know, I looked him up when I heard he was over at Central, prior to Weir Hi he was At Bishop Gorman. I was hoping that due to the medical problem that Central could make an exception and let him in. Central does not accept senior transfers. They didn't accept Gronkowski and the Kugler brothers so unfortunately if this kid is a senior he won't be at Central. You might see him at Pine Richland.

He could probably help on defense. PR really doesn't play with a TE offense. I wonder how/if Coach K would use him on that side of the ball.

National power Centenniel (Corona, CA) got stronger in one of the top off-season stories (Feb 2016) seeing one of the best receivers in the country, Tyjon Lindsey (5-9, 175, sr), transfer in from last year’s USA-Today top ranked 15-0 group. With 1126 yards on 48 receptions, he is rated as the 16th overall recruit for the Class of 2017 by 247 Sports.

Got this info February doing research-write ups for the 2016 Honor Bowl games. The bowl honors vets with 9 of 12 coming from Cal. More to the point for this board, two of our locals are in it, St. Joseph’s Prep and St. Joseph Regiional, and the board favorite……..IMG.
