Pennsbury has been absolutely awful regarding school reopening (NO plan to return to in-school), but finally offered an olive branch to football, cheer and band parents on Wednesday by giving each participant 2 tickets to tonight's game. But after considering yesterday's appeals court stay of the 250-person outdoor gathering limit, last night Pennsbury emailed all participants that NO ONE CAN ATTEND TONIGHT'S GAME! Parents are understandably HOT right now and I expect MANY parents to show up at the game anyway. Might get ugly and rightfully so, I say. Has anyone heard of any other district reversing course on attendance tonight based on yesterday's stay?

Same decision for Central Bucks. East and South are away so this week it only affects West.

"Might get ugly and rightfully so, I say." What do you mean by "ugly"? Seems as if you want it to get ugly.

Hopefully the clown of a governor will be overruled again.

There has to be a common sense solution. Not allowing any fans doesn't make any sense, but 250 may be too many--depending on circumstances (e.g. number of entrances, seating capacity that allows for adequate spacing, etc.) Obviously, it helps a lot that it's all outside, but people have to be willing not to shout if people are within 15 feet, not to use adjacent urinals, to space themselves out when they exit, etc.

The new normal. It sucks!!! I feel bad for all the players and their parents. "Americana" is taking a huge hit!!

That 250 accounts for all involved. So you’re looking at maybe 50-70 fans which can’t involve all parents which is what wolf wants so the schools will not allow anyone. Why can we fill the same schools up with kids everyday, but can’t social distance in stands.

Maybe the worry is that the environment in the schools during the school day can be controlled much more easily than the environment at a game, especially if some of those in attendance are keen to show some or all of the restrictions are nonsense.

Agreed tulla, there has to be a common sense solution that I think has to exceed 250 that counts everyone; players, coaches, cheerleader, etc. Capacity is at least a few thousand making 250 absurd.

I've been to the Pennsbury stadium a couple of times, it has to be able to easily handle in the thousands and social distance:

What do you do with a team like Garnet Valley. They typically bring over 100 players , 15 coaches / staff , 30 cheerleaders , 100 band. Already at 250 without even accounting for the other team.
