Falcons take the kickoff and drive the length of the field. Kottmeyer Stadium is empty tonight. Never good to play HS football on Saturday night.

Pennsbury stops DTW on a 4th and 1 and again drives the length of the field.

DTW takes advantage of a Falcon fumble to cut the lead in half. Not easy though as it took them 4 tries from inside the 5 yd line.

should be an interesting second half

Bad PF call against Pennsbury. The guy tackled the runner going out of bounds. No way that's a penaltry. Gives DTW field position and they eventually convert the tying TD.

Great game with Pennsbury taking the lead back at 28 to 21 with 10 minutes remaining in the 4th quarter.

Skinner, you're killing me. Do you not have numbers on your keyboard? I've already scouted out the local pub scene in Quakertown next week. Looking at McColle's Red Lion Inn.

Snyder goes for it on 4th and 5 on a running play at the 45 and gets stopped with a minute left. Doesn't look like DTW will take advantage.

Pennsbury has a 27 yd FG to win the game and they fake a FG? Headed to OT.

Did 54 and 74 play for DTW? They were hurt according to Chesmont2 but would make a difference in run game. 333 yards on the ground. Wow

Physical game that Pennsbury dominated at the line of scrimmage. #77 had to be 6-5 300 lbs at least, rest of line was big and physical. #40 RB was a bull and #12 QB ran well also and seemingly fell forward enough to reach the first down mark every time. West played from behind all game and you can't play catch up against an offense that #1 - is moving the chains and #2 - chews up so much clock. West had to score every time they had the ball after falling behind 14-0 plus get some defensive stops. Losing 6 yds on 1st play of OT was a killer. Both #54 and #74 started but neither finished the game. #54 who had been in a boot for most of the season ended up reaggravating the stress fracture and had to leave. Didn't like the Saturday night slot, no band, student section was hurting, fans kind of blah, just never felt the normal Friday Night lights atmosphere.

Great season by West. Just wondering out loud if this will push the talk of a separate stadium for East. They don't have room at school in Lionville but have land owned district next to the turnpike.

Dtown West really paid for that Skins win over the Falcons. Who would have been #15 if the Skins didn't sneak in?

West would have had three weeks of Sat games if they and East could have made it to the semis.

It's a joke to suggest that the outcome of this game was based on the night it was played! Out coached for the 2nd yr & by the same team says it all. Can you say "OVERRATED" as easily as the student section does vs other opponets?! With the rumors swirling around this coach and his VIEWS on certain administrator's, won't be shocked if there is a vacancy in the next view weeks.

I don't recall saying the night had anything to do with losing. I specifically recall saying Pennsbury physically beat them. Re-read the post. I added that it was an odd night and described the atmosphere, that's all. Don't think they were overated at all as they had a great season. Got a tough 1st round and lost. Thought next week (PV) would have been a less physical game had they won but they didn't. You come out of the woodwork to talk shit what do you know? Go back to Chester.
