11-10 NA. NA offense didn't score and only had a couple first downs. A FG and a punt return for TD and 2 pt conversion were their points. PCC offense scored once. I know those teams both play great defense, but I would have expected a little more, especially from NA.

I really don't know where things will end up out here. If PR can score 21, they may have a shot to win the WPIAL. Next big matchups in 3 weeks with PR @ PCC and NA @ SV.

New - I have been following all and def think PR has more than just a shot. Totten is washed up, needs to go. Time after time their offense is just pedestrian. They have tons of talent and no reason why they can’t be dynamic on O. Walker to me is one of the best coaches around. Fleming Pgh CC D-coordinator is the best around and maybe takes over , who knows. PR is the front runner in my mind right now.

From what I’ve heard from pcc people is that the OC is as much to blame as totten. I’m not surprised NA couldn’t have much success running their offense against that defense. Best way to beat their defense is to spread them and test the DB’s. PR passing game definitely gives them a good chance if they can protect some. I think PR defense can stop PCC offense enough as well. To me though the most solid team all around is NA. It doesn’t look like they have any real glaring weaknesses like the other teams might have. They need to spread to collela and Dinkins more though imo. The thing is despite how big a district it is I don’t think NA has really had a stud QB since Mack leftwhich.

Jacky - Good points. I also did not realize Totten did not call the game on offense. The year Mack fell into Artie's lap so did the Kugler brothers! Huge add for that team. I think NA's line play year in and out is outstanding

Thought experiment - if PCC were losing games 49-48 at the same rate they lose them now, would Totten still seem washed?

Rover - I think so because they have so much talent, speed, size and a lot of it.D1 kids everywhere, Fbs, FCS , Ivy. I do not care about recruiting either but when you do have studs you need to win. It stood out to me most when Prep beat them easily X 2 and talent wise it was even or tilted towards Pgh CC. Totally outcoached twice.
