North Penn wide receiver Justis Henley and tight end Owen Thomas were key members of a prolific Knights offense last season, and one college program offered both of them Tuesday.

Army West Point extended Henley and Thomas offers, they announced on their Twitter accounts.

For Henley, it represented his first offer. The 5-foot-11, 170-pound wide receiver caught 54 passes for 931 yards last season.

Thomas, who is listed at 6-foot-4, 215 pounds, has six offers. Bowling Green, Massachusetts, Monmouth, Old Dominion and Youngstown State had previously offered him

NP has done a good job on the waiver wire, too.

Jon Haynes mid-year last season. And I hear a couple of quality PCL WRs now.

Shame. He's a nice player. Wonder if he lives in their school district?

Don't wonder too long. Negative.

But hey, it's cool with me if his family feels this is beat. I just don't want read about complaining from our public school contingency.

Huck, I somewhat disagree with your statement. North Penn is the only consistent public school in District 1 with a chance to knock off the PCL. They are also the only public school that I've read about significant transfers on here in the past year. If you want to single out North Penn I have no problem with that. To lump in the other 72 public schools from District 1 into the equation is not fair.

For starters, what do the other D1 schools think about the NP antics of late? They should have more of a problem with this than anyone in D12. Before the PCL joined the PIAA, the major complaint from the "public school contingency" on this board was how NP had such a huge advantage with enrollment numbers. If they liked NP then, they must love them now.
