What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“I have been working on my change of direction the most and focusing on bursting out of my cuts. I also have been working on my route running as I have a big role to play this upcoming season and need to be ready to do anything offensively.”
What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“I feel like I have improved the most in my speed since the last football season.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“We are a young team this year, but I have confidence in my guys and it’s my job to step up as a senior and make sure they are ready to play at a high level.”
What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“Malvern Prep will probably be our toughest appointment this season. They are always a good team and are big up front so it’s going to be a battle.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“Probably Peter Jones from Malvern Prep.”

What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“Constant work with my conditioning, agility and weight training. Making sure I am ready for off season camps.”
What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“My strength has definitely improved the most. My weight and mass are increasing faster now than it ever has.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I believe we will make it to the state championship this year. We had a tough loss last year in the playoffs against Goretti who we beat in the regular season. We learned from it and will be better from it.”
What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“I think Moore Catholic will be our toughest competition this season. They are well coached and have a lot of quality players on both sides of the ball.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“Definitely Matthias Lighten from Moore Catholic.”

Q&A with Pocono Mountain West middle linebacker Karter Nuss
What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“Well we just finished up our spring practices and now I’m just going to get started on a summer lift program to try and get my strength up some more and try to put some more muscle on before the summer.”
What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“Reading the guards and being quicker off of the ball.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I think on defense we are going to be really solid because we only lost three starters and we have some good players filling those spots. Offense I think we should be all right. We lost most of our linemen so I think it will depend on how those guys play.”
What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“Our first game of the season against Parkland should be our toughest one. Those guys are always good.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“I try not to think about individual players and focus on the team and what they run but if I had to say it will probably be Trey Tremba the RB from Parkland. Being a middle linebacker this will be a good matchup.”

“I have been grinding every day.”

“I have improved my work ethic. I'm much hungrier.”

“I think we should have a great season. We are bringing back our whole offensive line and defensive line.”

“CB will be a good test for us because they are well coached.”

“No one because as a team we have the mentality to fear no one.”

What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“Practice Monday-Friday, Monday and Wednesday nights are two-a-days.”
What do you feel you have improved on most this off-season?
“My knowledge for the game, I’ve been studying college offenses and top-level OCs to learn as much as possible.”
How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“We are going to compete at a high level, this group of guys has a lot of heart, which is something our program has been lacking in years past.”
What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“Week 1. The battle for the pig iron trophy, I don’t think it’s any secret that week 1 is our hardest game.”

“I’m not aware of anyone that when I watch them play, I’m blown away.”
