Check PA FB-News 5A ranking that is way off the mark. Hard arguing 6A but 5A is a disaster with Harrisburg at 8 ..?.. as ‘tho these guys don’t understand the reality of an upset vis-a-vis Governor Mifflin over Harrisburg. Unionville, Springfield, Gateway, etc ahead of Harrisburg ….!*?....says they didn’t see them, (that’s ok), but how about glancing at their schedule where you’d find the following wins.

Imhotep Charter 33-14
Harrisburg-McDevitt 35-0
Central Dauphin 48-10
State College 51-28
Cumberland Valley 56-14

They would be higher than 8th in an open ranking, one that considered even 4A, 5A and 6A together. See below. All PA FB News did was follow playoff game outcomes, then slot teams accordingly.

State Top 8;
1 Pine Richland; little argument here
2 St. Joseph’s Prep; ditto above
3 Coatesville; here thru 6th it gets murky-arguable
4 Archbishop Wood
5 Harrisburg
6 Cathedral Prep
7 Imhotep
8 Garnet Valley; could have gone a few ways here but gave Cville fits.

The biggest injustice might be in 3A. How is Aliquippa (12-1) 8th when they beat Quaker Valley (14-1) 22-7 in the regular season and lost to them 2-0 in the WPIAL final. They were the only team who gave QV a game year. They should be 2nd.

Same scenario Relayer. They ranked teams higher that went farther in the playoffs. Most of the time a ranking is just common sense, letting the teams determine where they go with obviously some points to argue, but this? Quips should be 2nd.
