Np 7 sf 0

With 3 mins left it looks like Np will win.. The way they played tonight not sure hiw they will do next week.. Very ugly game a ton of or penalties

Well, they were tested and found a way to win. They showed they can win ugly. A lot to correct though if you don't want to get shown up on your field next week. I would imagine they play better. Maybe this was a good thing. Credit to Spring Ford, they are a good team.

Credit to Spring Ford as that was a competitive game at Crawford. SF had NP on ropes in second quarter too bad halftime hit. Second half NP D tightened up and #8 made two quality plays on the TD reception and interception. Way too many penalties for the Knights. Have to clean that up. Udinski went over 3,000 yards tonight.

Good game at Crawford. SF and the PAC are no joke anymore. They are newer to the scene, but they can play.. PV throttles D East. SF holds NP to 1 TD over last 3 quarters. Appreciate the nice words after most thought it would be a running clock after halftime. It was not..

I will say this... Cooney and Markol are clueless.... Cooney may want to get up from the all you can eat buffet and go watch some other teams. Markol is a joke. A few teams from the PAC are not...

D1

Take it easy on Penn and Teller, no one was sure of the SOL demise and rise of the PAC, looks like it may be for real.....Good for them. Nesh and UD upset and NP threatened is all pretty serious....

The Pac-10 has been for real since 2012 when Spring-Ford made the D1 final. Both S-F and Perk Valley have won a combined 10 playoff games in that period. Good chance Perk Valley gets to the D1 final next week.

Sorry.. this is my second soap box this week... Maybe it's just me.. I admit I'm an old fart who like to reference the old days in the Buxmont and Surb 1.. But there was more to this game then struggling to hold on. When you have a team down 21-0 in the first 8 minutes your not supposed to hold on to win.. it should be in MR in the 2ndQ...

In the Intel today... beck took the blame for the playing calling in the 2nd Q..(I'm not sure that has ever happened before and I'm guessing it has something to do with the extra large full moon on monday).. Once NP received the personal foul for celebrating a sack the game changed...

Not to take anything away from SF they have a great squad.. What bothers me the most was towards the end of the 1st Q..watching skill position players walk slowly back to the huddle after every play...they just took their good old time., yes in the 70's if you did that you were lucky if you only saw the bench for the rest of the game..(not sure how that will go over at when playing at the next level).. if I was a lineman I would be pissed..

Winning, losing, holding on to win or making a comeback is all part of the game. But how players act on the field is a character thing that I blame on coaching for letting them get away with it.. These are kids playing a game at a very high level ..sitting in the cheap seats it looked they were not sure what to do as they when no longer the fastest team on the field or the most talented or have the deepest roster...

I don't blame the kids for keeping the game close.. but the coaches better take a look at themselves

And lest face it...14 penalties at this point in the season is not going to win championships..
