LS 17 NP 6 at half

LS throws 50 yard bomb 8 before half time after fumble with 8 seconds before half. NP let clock run down to 14 seconds to call timeout to run out clock too. NP was happy to go into half down 10-6 and did everything except hold on to ball to avid big play.

Nice win for explores. Turnover and special teams really made the difference. Going to be a quite an interesting season. My prediction of 3 wins may be off. We'll see.

If not for a circus catch that kept an NP drive alive, they might have been shut out in the first half.

And if the NP defender hadn't jumped too soon, he would have defended the play before the half. It was a sloppy game on both sides. NP dropped its fair share of passes and LS play calling at times seemed awkward. It's the first game and both teams will have their challenges ahead.
