He's lived his entire life being told "yes", "you're the best", etc.... Talk about the ultimate participation award seeking snowflake. Everyone who has dealt with him over the years knows he's full of shit. They've just always needed something from him, so they've nodded along and got what they needed from him. Unless they were contractors on his jobs, then they didn't get paid.
