Called his own shot. Said they were going to win. Game is ready to turn into a bloodbath! Cover and move better give him his due. Didn't have to send you any game plan. Looks like a replay of 3 years ago to me.

I did brother, thread read congrats to the prep. Been wrong before be wrong again. Just calling a spade a spade. Pcc stunk it up. Prep played well on defense. Was one of the first to say congrats to prep after np game. I'll man up when necessary.

PCC is still a one trick pony. They line up in heavy sets and pull guards and tackles. Gabe and Strats eat that up all day long. 2 man pass routes and when you don't throw alot you don't protect particularly well and it showed tonight.

Wow, maybe pcc didn't watch np film. Need to be multiple. Btm film work spot on. But don't u have plan B if a isn't working, at this stage, this level?

Not if you are running over everyone on the way to the state title and you won the state title the year before. Some guys only know how to do it one way and are to stubborn to change. Look liked the same PCC run game from 3 years ago. People said St. Joe's only answer was to put Runyan in. Obviously, it has something to do with scheme. Give Beck credit, he adopted to the changing game and became more multiple. Don't want to slight Coach Infante, but Beck should probably be Coach of the Year

Agreed man. Reminds me of pennsbury teams with snyder, couldn't beat beck, fall behind, can't throw to come back or win. And it happens year after year after year. Pcc same way , Lose to prep same way, don't change, unreal. Yes, give beck credit, finally thought outside the box, coached to his talent. One d1 kid in johns and almost pulled it off. Sepa ball said, could be underrated

The second SJP matched PCC'a physicality the game was over. They thought they were going to bully SJP and it didn't happen. Their passing game wasn't sophisticated enough to offset PCC not being able to run over SJP. The Hawks were strong against the run for most of the season.

Can't beat prep by running at them. You're doing them a huge favor. 10 and 11 are unreal at LB! Princeton is getting a steal in Johnson. Kid brings it all of the time, every time!

Not trying to be controversial...but championship game was last week.
Too bad TEP didn't hold up their end otherwise it would have been big school eastern dominance.

Congrats to Prep and coach BTM. No game plan necessary. I was wrong again, thought it would be a close game.

Good point Burrs also....PCC with their D1 talent reminded me of Gateway who had more D1 talent than some colleges year after year....and lost to a "team". I think that angle has been proven time and again to be unfounded.

Woods better than NP.

16th..I don't want to get into a pissing contest... yes Wood has another ring and NP doesn't... I don't care who is in which division...just looking at the prep-wood game vs prep NP game... I think NP did a better job against Prep then wood did.. it's not if they both played 10 times what would happen... or the ref calls which I admit seems to control the wood prep game.. just a question?

Played at different points in season. Wood actually gave Prep a tough game. Had lead at points. You know better than to compare scores of other teams and games. Wood is so much better than they were week 3.

I agree that Wood is a lot better today than they were back in week 4 or 5, but NP is really good, too.

I think a NP/AW game would be a good match-up, but there is no way I can say with any conviction that one is definitely better than the other right now.

Both had chance vs prep. Np played them better than anyone all year. But like in college football we aren't going to argue over whether the losers in the semi game could beat each other. Prep 1, then NP and wood tied for 2 in state. In my opinion.

I can't disagree. SJP played better against PCC than they played against NP, but I'm sure NP can say they can play better than they played against the Prep. And though Wood didn't play so well against the Prep and are certainly improved, it has to be remembered that the Prep beat Wood essentially without having Swift.

And Wood played with a brand new to Wood Sophmore QB with only 6 quarters of varsity football under his belt against 2 nationally ranked teams in Wayne and Bergen. Not exactly optimal circumstance to get your legs under you. He has improved 10 fold.

It's not about I told you so! We were never concerned about PCC's passing attack. One of our big concerns was our punting, that obviously was not an issue last night other than on bad punt when we were up 28-0. The better team won and it was not close! Two games and total score is 77-17. PCC's offense is easy pickings for a team that won't back down.

Is there another Johnson coming along? All three have been great.

My sense was that Johnson was playing on another level altogether last night. It almost seemed that he was giving the count that determined when PCC was going to snap the ball.

Tulla - I think there is a freshman now. Another example of legacy at the school and on the team. Dispels much of the recruiting scenario not to mention that SJP has been around longer than most public schools.

The players totally outplayed PCC and the coaches (all of them) totally out coached PCC as well. Its a testament to the coaches that they are as committed as much as they are to the entire Prep program and a real delight (being an EasternPAHS football guy) seeing how they dominated the way they did.

Speaking of commitment I was told that one of the Prep coaches (or sideline guys) told the team weeks ago that if they were to continue to win he would wear shorts all the way to the State title game. I was on that field for all three games yesterday and I had to leave after the second game because I was freezing my ass off. Can anyone confirm if the guy wore shorts out there last night?

He did improve, no doubt. However, when push came to shove, the Vikes went old school and pounded teams with the run. Thus, making the young QB a game manager. I absolutely agree with decision because of matchups and plus it worked wonders. With that said, I'm not sure AW would find that level of success playing one-dimensional vs the likes of SJP, PCC, or NP today.

Devlin always goes old school in Hershey- Russo 1-6 passing as a Junior with McClenton 26 carries and Arcangeli 16 carries in 2014. 2013 Garlick 2-3 passing with 40 carries for McClenton. That's is how Wood wins in December.

The soph QB ran for a TD and threw for 2 more against Prep, and we all he agree there has been improvement. They were not one dimensional first time around. Fisher and PCC did not do that. Not only has QB improved but the defense and O-line are so much better than earlier in the season and gone are 4th down penalties that extended drives against Prep and personal fouls and blocks in the back that cost them, and starting 4 drives inside their own 10.
I know Swift did not play but IMO Waller is outstanding and Talley played and honestly, no one beats a team with a healthy Swift as a senior. We will never know, but Wood traveling to Oakland for 2017 season opener would be fun......

Congrats to Prep and NP on great seasons!! We are all fortunate to have such high quality local HS football players and coaches to enjoy, debate, and break balls over...

Yes, he was the toughest player on the freshman team this year. GREAT family!
