I’m out of town and didn’t see any games, but perusing box scored over coffee

Easton scored 23 second half points to break a 7-7 tie and beat Allentown Central Catholic 30-7. Marcus Williams ran for 171 yards and two touchdowns, and junior wideout JuJu Fears caught 4 passes for 117 yards and the score that broke the game open in the second half. ACC falls from the ranks of the unbeatens and Easton gets back on track after losing two straight.

Parkland came back from down 10 to beat Freedom with two 40+ yard field goals to win. Trey Tremba had another huge night, as did sophomore fill in QB Luke Spang, who replaces Ty Tremba (broken collarbone).

Emmaus beat Whitehall in the PCN game of the week. Tyliek Jarvis ran for 125 yards and two TDs, and Emmaus held Whitehall under 200 yards of offense.

Notre Dame came from behind to knock off undefeated Northern Lehigh.

Saw Emmaus-Whitehall PCN game of week and it was better than score, tight through half feeling Zepfs were in it for much of game. Nice, nice looking running backs for both! #6 Whitehall, Jarvis for Emmaus. Hornets look like a team that could do damage; good coaching, decent looking young QB who will only get better with confidence, Jarvis-others and just an overall impressive team. Like to see more of Parkland and Easton. Easton has some super fast backs if highlights mean anything.

Oh yeah, Easton’s back can fly - Williams is a college track guy if he doesn’t play football and Hutchinson and Fears can also really run. Easton had a big lead on Parkland and the Trojans made some adjustments defensively wnd took over. Parkland isn’t super talented, but plays hard and is super disciplined/well coached.

Harold Fairclough is who Emmaus has been waiting for for generations. He’s got a state title at ACC and has brought that program into the modern age. They won’t beat SJP/LaSalle/Wood, but it wouldn’t shock me if they could play with the best of D1/D3/D7. But ACC beat them last week and Easton killed ACC last night, so who knows?

Whitehall is definitely on the right track. Matt Seneca (another ACC grad - it’s a serious tree; he also was thr QB coach at Liberty for their mid 2000s run) has them going in the right direction. They’ll make a run in 5A

I wouldn't be too quick saying Emmaus can't go with PCL-Red teams. Of course SJP is always special and LS needs to be in the conversation too....but SJP looks mortal this year per their youth.

About the EPC-South. I noticed they rarely win on the road against each other, just counting games vs each other and NOT counting Beca who doesn't belong in that group per performance.
Counting the rest....Emma, East, Free, Park, ACC, White, Naz and Lib, they are 2-8 (2-9 counting Beca) on the road against one another, saying their is some kind of special home field advantage in the EPC-S. Only Parkland bucked those odds, beating Easton 24-21 away, and ACC who won at Liberty 14-7.

Back to the first paragraph. If you can't win your own conference road games, you're not going to fare well against SJP/ LS or any other teams in the postseason.
