La Salle and St. Joe's will play their annual game this year at Franklin Field on October 2. I haven't been in that stadium since the Iggles played there. Should be a good one!! (Just as a side piece of information Franklin Field is the oldest still active stadium in the country built for the Army Navy game and for the University of Penn.)

No Beef and Ale stop. I guess it's Chubbies or Delisandro's for the ride down!!

Outside cut with sharp provolone. Stop it Roxy! Seriously, will someone pick this up, maybe televise it?
Televise Roxy and the sandwich or the game? If the latter, I wonder if they'll let Bob Long do what he's been doing with streaming LaSalle games. Then there's SFBN.

I'm guessing the cost of playing there is pretty high and both schools are chipping in. When was the last time either team played before a crowd of more than 7.500, which is about the number of fans needed to make it not look empty there? Not a great place to actually see the game given the distance between the stands and the field but I love the idea of playing there, being able to take the subway or, even better, the SEPTA commuter train right there.

Isn't the Prep planning to play another game at Franklin Field?
