Imhotep 42 Cathedral Prep 7....Final

Based on footage, Imhotep's offensive line average is 330. That's sick. Biggest line I've seen in HS playoffs.
The closest one was Hopewell Viking 2002 (Paul Poz) 265 line avg.

With Mifflin out I think Imhotep has no problem with the rest of the field. It's funny Mifflin knocked off that unbelievable 2017 Harrisburg team and this year it happens to them. Anything can happen come playoff time.

That was a talented team in 17, statistically their best offense ending at 47ppg and a great defense, personnel. Two things stopped them. #1 they were cocky, immature. #2 Coach had real issues addressing GM's Mid Line offense.

2018 was a better "team" at 13-2 than 17, getting to final vs SJP. They grew up.
2019 wasn't their best (9-4), beat a 10-win Coatesville team at Coatesville.
2020 was a real solid 4-0 team with an underrated senior Qb, crushing all but covid.
2021 was one of their better teams. And good luck handicapping rematches of conference rivals. One thing unnoticed about this year's team is how young they are.

But right Hausmann, 2017's was a special group everywhere but between their ears.

Some interesting comments from Mischler in this article. Sounds like it was a chippy game.

The game featured multiple unsportsmanlike conduct penalties and late-hit penalties as both teams played with emotion.

“They had some anger toward us and I'm not sure why. None of these guys were on the team the last time we played,” Mischler said. “I felt we stood up to them and I'm proud of the character of my team for the most part.”

I’m sure the coaches was there. They most likely pushed the “go get it back” attitude all wk in practice.
