how much of a high school football fan are you?

just a few questions...

do you go to a game every Friday night?

if you do, do you choose a big game or your alma maters game?

do you watch games on TV and never go to games?

do you just read about the games and not actually watch?

I never see discussions here about the smaller schools, do you only follow the big schools?

do you prefer high school football over pro and college?

I mainly follow my alma mater Mt. Carmel. I also follow Southern Columbia, mostly because we are now both on AA and we need to get by them to get into the state playoffs. But also because I have family and MC classmates who moved into SC district.
I haven't lived in that area for a long time so it is great that the MCA HS TV studio has been broadcasting the games on YouTube the past few years. I watch every Friday night and before that I listened online. I try to go see a game in person every year if possible.
Other than MCA, I keep up with scores around the state and rankings. I also watch the state championship games on TV every year. Used to watch the WPIAL finals at Heinz when I could get them.
I watch football at all levels but love HS bc it's the purest form of the game. Big or small school doesn't matter but in general I root for teams playing for their town/community and against 'all star' teams.
