Doesn't seem to be able to get out of his own way. Now he's got to worry what the kids are up to.

I saw a few interviews with the author. He seems to think Eric started out okay and only turned the corner when daddy got involved. Daddy taught him quick how to self-deal or maybe Eric didn't realize what he was doing. Still no excuse. If not for all the other craziness this would be a bigger story. Sad we've come to quietly accept a guy stealing from charities over and over again.
