Coatesville 35-28. 25 second and Coatesville intercepts for a TD. Now 19 secs left a kickoff

I thought Ricci and GV's staff did an outstanding job. From a talent standpoint, their kids shouldn't come within 4-5 scorers of Coatesville. They almost pulled off the upset.

I totally agree. Whenever you can rush for +400 yards and force Coatesville to punt 4 times, you got to figure your chances of winning are pretty good.
If you don't recognize that Coatesville has way more talent than GV, then we aren't watching the same game.
I watched the game on U Tube and it was very entertaining. I thought CV would win by 3 TDs , but that GV team just keeps coming and they are a confident group. I haven't heard a great deal about their RBs prior to the playoffs and was surprised at their performance . They don't go down easily. Congratulations on a great year.
GV's line play on both sides of the ball was an equalizer-anyone know about #75 for GV? He is a stud. Older Young from CVille made a big-time play. What a great HS football game.
75 for garnet valley only a junior. 6-4 or so 235 athlete who also plays hoops. Cade Brennan. Would think he has good chance to be FCS or FBS kid.
HS: I think you grossly underrate the talent level at GV. They may not have a group of kids running 4.5-4.6 40's, but they have a ton of talent. Enough talent that they can afford to two platoon offense / defense and make it to 2 straight district finals.
Makes you wonder with tarburton not playing last week and pennridge only losing by 1 score what could of happened vs a coatesville... class act nonetheless by garnet valley I really enjoy watching them play.
My apologies-I didn't mean to insinuate GV doesn't talent, or that CV isn't well coached. Simply, I felt CV had an advantage in terms of talent, speed, and athleticism. Therefore, I was surprised GV played that well. Congrats to the CV players and staff for winning the D1 title! Make us proud vs SJP, I'll be rooting for you guys!
