'Skins scored on first possession and then GV had two nice veer offense drives to make it 14-7.

On following possession Jones fumbled and GV defender picked up and returned all the way to make it 21-7.

It got worse for 'Skins from there.

Congratulations to Garnet Valley for coming up to Langhorne and posting a statement win. Continued success in your playoff run.

Congrats to Neshaminy for an 11-1 season. It was a tough ending to the year but there were records broken and many achievements. We'll miss the seniors - good luck to you guys.

As to the underclass men - the next season is just around the corner. Get after it and we'll see you in 2017!

21-7 half....Neshaminy can't get going on offense and do not have answer for GV O...GV fumbled while driving again or this could be worse......

It is now 28-7. Saw GV last week and as i posted they are small, quick/fast and well coached. Remind me of last years UD team except they run the ball.

Fletch -

I was watching on WBCB and had to turn off and missed the last score (I fixed it).

You are right that it was - and is - very bad if you were - and are - a Redskin fan ...

AND I AM!!!! AND I STILL AM.

But it was very bad.

GV really was good with their offense -- very good.

I had to watch the live stream last night. Congrats to GV. They played a great game. I think the stars aligned in their favor last night, Tredway hobbled really hurts. He is a force on both sides of the ball and on teams. He is also Jones' security blanket. I think the last two games showed his value. Add to that, the wind really affected the long pass, a big part of Neshaminy's game. Last, it was a matter of time, but had to happen eventually that the Skins poor tackling would be their demise.
About the wind, it is November, and these windy (and bad weather) games are going to happen. You have to be able to win in all forms of weather if you want to advance in the playoffs. The Skins were beaten on the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. That has happened before but they were able to overcome it in the past. Congrats to the Jags, they did what no one else could do this year, they beat the Redskins.
I will miss Mason Jones Zach Tredway, Will Dogba, Jake Gordon, Ben Raab, Dylan McDonald and the rest of the seniors, but look forward to seeing this Sophomore class, Oleh Manzyk, Corey Joyce, Luke Hitchen, SaVaughan Hebron, Chauncey Kratee, and Zach Cannimore, augmented by the juniors, Mike Garlick, John Hughes, Joel Stills, Govanni Figueroa, and others next year. Plus there are a couple of freshman who played varsity, plus the other players who backed up the senior starters.
The Skins future is bright as they reload next year. Expect them to compete for the District title again the next two years.
Thank you Neshaminy Redskins for a great and exciting season!
